About
CultureWorks seeks to further understand the current needs of artists and arts and culture organizations in Richmond and the Tri-Cities region.
Responses help CultureWorks:
• Get a pulse check of the current successes, challenges, and needs of the region's arts and culture community.
• Prioritize programs and resources needed to meet the moment.
The assessment focuses on three key areas:
• General capacity and access to resources within the sector
• Most-desired non-grant programs CultureWorks could provide
• Feedback on the 2026-2027 grant cycle.
Looking ahead, CultureWorks plans to release an assessment annually to not only stay up to date with artist and organizational health, but to ensure programming aligns with current need and to arm ourselves with data to better advocate for our constituents into the future.
