KICKOFF BLock Party

CultureWorks kicked off the artoberVA celebration with TBT El Gallo, Gelati Celesti, music by Sweet Potatoes, art vendors, games, and so much more earlier this month!

A highlight of this year's theme was the curation of "Pay-What-You-Will" (PWYW) events. This initiative empowered patrons to contribute to admission at a price point within their means, fostering accessibility and inclusivity.

open doors: a virtual series

CultureWorks hosted virtual talks with arts & culture leaders on the importance of access to and within their industries. The talks featured Melody Short, Nastassja Swift, Alexis Shockley, and Yvonne Mastromano!

Artoberfest

CultureWorks hosted its 3rd annual Artoberfest celebration in Petersburg at Appomattox Iron Works. This was a free event designed to bring together neighbors and community members for a day of artistic expression and festivities.
