Agecroft Hall and Gardens Seeking Part-Time Marketing & Development Assistant
Job Summary: Responsible for assisting with a variety of marketing and fundraising initiatives to promote Agecroft Hall & Gardens with a goal to expand both audiences and financial support for the historic property. Assist with a wide array of print and electronic communications. Assist with the promotion of Agecroft events, membership and donation opportunities, and other initiatives. Assist with developing content for Agecroft’s social media platforms. Assist with the planning and execution of several events throughout the year, including those that may take place on evenings and/or during the weeken
This is a part-time, one-year position for 12-16 hours/week, ideally split into two to three shifts. Some flexibility in hours. The pay rate for this position is $18/hour. After the initial year of service, a contract extension is possible.

City of Dallas Commissioning Public Art Installation
The Public Art Program of the City of Dallas Office of Arts & Culture requests the submission of qualifications from artists or artist teams to design, fabricate and install a work of public art at Harry Stone Recreation and Aquatics Center. There are no geographic eligibility requirements for artists.
The responses shared by the community about the desired artwork at the Harry Stone Recreation & Aquatics Center highlight a variety of themes. The community wants the artwork to be bright and colorful and evoke emotions such as motivation, hope, joy, happiness, inspiration, and a sense of welcome. The art should reflect nature, community, health, and history, and contribute to the area’s identity.
The budget for this project is $120,000. A mandatory 10% contingency amount ($12,000) will be automatically held and allocated for unforeseen project costs. The entire budget will be available for use with written request from the artist(s) for release of contingency fee.

Applications open for Houston Center for Contemporary Craft’s 2026-2027 Artist Residency Program
All artists working in craft media, including wood, glass, metal, fiber, and clay, as well as those who work at the intersection of contemporary craft and photography, are encourage to apply.
Resident artists receive a $1,00 monthly stipend and numerous benefits, including 24/7 studio access, cultural and professional development, the opportunity to exhibit work adn give an artist talk, and more.
Six and nine month residencies will be given preference, with limited three and twelve-month residencies available.

A Poet Laureate is a representative voice for our city—someone who uses poetry to celebrate Richmond’s stories, strengthen community, and inspire connection through the arts.
The next Poet Laureate will play a critical role in enriching, inspiring, and gathering our city to tell stories that reflect where we’ve been and where we’re going.
Requirements:
Applicants must be 18 years or older
Currently living, working, or studying in Richmond
Establish poetric achievement and a passion for building literary community
Available for a launch event on April 11, 2026
Able to pass a background check in the event of programming connected to youth.

Mural Call for Entries in Fredericksburg
The Fredericksburg Arts Commisssion seeks artists to submit concepts to be considered for a painted mural that will cover the outside wall of the Dorothy Hart Community Center along the side entrance of the building. This call is open to all local and regional artists. The selected artist will be awarded $4,000 for labor and supplies.

Tidewater arts outreach recruiting for artist roster
Join Tidewater Arts Outreach as an artist serving older adults and those in isolating circumstances as they expand programming to Richmond!
All mediums (music, visual art, dance, drama, creative writing, etc.) are welcome. Artists are compensated for their time and all materials are provided. Artists are being accepted on a rolling basis.
