VENDOR APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR WARRIORS IN BLOOM
Taking place at Agecroft Hall & Gardens on August 2nd from 12-5 pm, this event celebrates bold figures who dared to defy convention, making history in the process.
Virago Alley is seeking vendors who align with the event’s themes of bravery, empowerment, historical practices and creative techniques, ties to nature, and overall badassery.
Applications will be accepted through June 29 at 11:59 pm.

VIRGINIA REP SEEKING BOX OFFICE MANAGER
Virginia Repertory Theatre is seeking a Box Office Manager to join our full-time staff. The Box Office Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for the daily operations of ticket sales and patron services.
This position is eligible for annual and sick leave, participation in company health, life, dental and vision insurance plans, as well as our 403(b) retirement plan. Starting salary is $50,000-$55,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Employment begins on or around July 7, 2025 and is a continuing full time, on-site staff position.

Art Works Seeking Entries for June All-Media Show
This exhibit is a focal point of all Art Works’ openings. It is a juried show with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The show is open to all artists and all mediums. There is no theme.
The exhibit will be in the Skylight Gallery. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Submission Deadline: June 15 at 12:00p
Exhibit runs from June 27 through July 19, 2025.

Juried Show Opportunity with Artists Collective in Spartanburg
Artists Collective in Spartanburg, Georgia invites all visual artists ages 18 and older residing in SC, NC, Georgia, Virginia, and Tennessee to apply for acceptance to the juried show.
Entries will be accepted July 1st - July 31st, 2025. A non-refundable fee of $40 per artist for three (3) entries upon submission.
Only original works of art produced within the last three years will be accepted in the following media: painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramic, glass, photography, printmaking, jewelry, textile, basketry, wood, mixed media, digital, and AI.

Walton Gallery Seeking Artists for Small Works Show
The Walton Gallery in Petersburg is looking for artists from Virginia, Maryland, DC, and North Carolina for a Small Works Show. The gallery encourages you to research Walton Gallery to ensure your work fits the gallery’s aesthetic prior to submitting.

Second Street Gallery Accepting Exhibition Submissions

Second Street Gallery is currently accepting submissions for our Season 52 Juried Exhibition and Fundraiser, Teeny Tiny Trifecta 8, to be held in the Main Gallery from September 5–26, 2025. Please review the exhibition application requirements HERE and take particular note of the new size requirements: 8 x 8 inches (or round works with a diameter of 8 inches).
Interested applicants must submit the following for a complete application:
A Google Form application HERE, which includes submission of an artist statement and three images of artworks you intend to exhibit.
An application fee HERE. Fees range from $10 for members of Second Street Gallery / $20 fee for non-members.
PAAL Seeking Artists for “Shake it Up”Exhibit
Artists shake up the way people see and experience the world. Whether it’s showing us sublime beauty in the midst of so much else, or tearing things apart that we thought to be permanent. Generally speaking, artists disrupt convention.
The Petersburg Area Art League is calling on artists to submit works of art that “shake things up”. Feel free to challenge our perspectives and interpret this theme as you see fit.
All art media (painting, drawing, 3-D works, textiles, video, mixed media, etc.) are welcome, as our gallery space and accommodations will allow.

Call for Submissions — Iridian Gallery
The Iridian Gallery at Diversity Richmond is now accepting proposals for work in all mediums for our 2026 exhibition calendar. As the only LGBTQ gallery in the South and one of the few in the nation, we strive to serve the queer community and amplify the voices of its artists. While preference will be given to LGBTQ+ artists, work by allies that speak to the experiences of our community will also be considered.

CALL FOR SCULPTURE ARTIST IN FAIRFAX COUNTY
ArtsFairfax, in partnership with the Mount Vernon District Office, Fairfax County, seeks an artist or artist team to design, fabricate, and install a permanent sculpture at the Lorton Police Station and Animal Shelter that will signal the site’s offering of hospitality, safety, and community engagement. This location offers visibility and a unique opportunity to create impactful public art that will represent a point of pride at a high traffic Fairfax County facility.
The selected artwork should:
Welcome visitors to the police station and animal shelter
Serve as a local landmark for community gathering and engagement
Reflect the values of the Lorton Community

VA250 Grant Application Currently OPEN
Virginia Humanities has teamed up with VA250 - American Revolution 250 Commission to provide grants that will fund content development, exhibit design, and other humanities-related programs to localities.
Projects should be focused on the American Revolution. Applicants may apply for up to $10,000, and a 1:1 match is required.
